Trisha began her career with the Roads and Airports Department in June of 2001 as an Advanced Clerk Typist and was hired by County Communications as a Dispatcher I in August, 2001.  In April, 2003, Trisha was promoted to a certified medical Communications Dispatcher II.  In January 2004, Trisha was certified in fire dispatching, achieving tri-community status.  In April of 2008, Trisha was promoted to Senior Communications Dispatcher where she was the first line supervisor, assigned to day shift.  Also in 2008, Trisha was deployed as a member of the Fire Incident Dispatch Team member to Ukiah, in Mendocino County for 10 days.  In April of 2010, she was promoted to Supervising Communications Dispatcher where she managed an assigned shift.  Trisha subsequently held Chief of Support Services, and Chief of Dispatch Operations before becoming Deputy Director in 2018.  Trisha was promoted to Director of County Communications in 2022.  In addition to Trisha’s many roles, she has taken the lead on several large projects, including the 9-1-1 telephone replacement project and has worked on the department’s recruitment, training and retention focused activities.
