County Communications recruits entry level dispatch positions several times a year for specific academy classes. Please check back often as recruitments open and close several times a year.

Santa Clara County Communications Provides Dispatching and 9-1-1 for the following agencies within the county.

Logos for Santa Clara County Sheriff's, Fire, EMS, and Parks Departments

Positions:

Dispatcher I

- Entry level position : Law Dispatcher / Radio & Call Taking functions

 

Dispatcher II

- Dispatches either EMS or Fire resources in addition to Law resources

 

Dispatcher III

- Dispatches in all three communities Law, Fire and EMS

Shifts:
4/10 Schedule (4 days on 3 days off 10 hours per-day)
A Shift: 2100-0700 C Shift: 0700-1700 E shift: 1600-0200
B Shift: 0100-1100 D Shift: 1100-2100
